Oxford and Harry Potter

Oxford was a town in Oxfordshire and now being a city, is famous worldwide for its prestigious university, the oldest in the English speaking world.

Oxford University is located in the city centre of Oxford and is made up of 39 independent colleges, quads, and buildings that can be found all over the city. Many Oxford colleges open their doors to visitors for at least a few hours daily. Many are free to visit, and some charge a small fee.
