Tube – The UK Train System

The “Tube” is a slang name for the London Underground, because the tunnels for some of the lines are round tubes running through the ground. 

The London Underground (also known simply as the Underground or by its nickname the Tube) is a rapid transit system serving Greater London  and some parts of the adjacent counties, aka provinces, precinct, in England.
